Tarantino Named Film Icon of the Decade

At the Empire Awards in London Quentin Tarantino was named Film Icon of the Decade. Quite an honor for him. Quentin really is a great talent with so many cult classics under his hat. Granted his latest works Kill Bill did not appeal to me, but I know I am one amongst few who did not like it since overall everyone seemed to enjoy them.

Tarantino is also ready for a job change when he retires. He is planning to retire in 15years and manage a movie theatre. Here is what he said according to Yahoo Movies:

"The fact that England has embraced me as one of its own is really cool," Tarantino said. "I hope to give you at least 15 more years of movies, I'm not going to be this old guy that keeps cranking them out.

"My plan is to have a theater by that time in some small town and I will be the manager — this crazy old movie guy.

"I've made enough money that nobody even needs to show up at the theater. It's just having something to do."

I can just see people lining up to be a part of this theatre chain. Who wouldnt go to a theatre where Tarantino works? Do you think he will serve popcorn? Will he autograph my coke?
