On Thursday, February 23, Forbes published the latest list of the 100 richest Poles. There is a large group of entrepreneurs from the city of Lodz and the Lodz County. When it comes to our entrepreneurs, there are also a lot of changes, and most of all, some well-known ones fell out of the top 100.
This year, as in previous years, there are several completely new names in the list of the richest Poles – this time there are eight of them. There are 11 people on the list of the 100 richest Poles from Łódź and the Łódź Voivodeship.
In the exhibition, we present entrepreneurs from the Łódź Voivodeship on the Forbes 2023 list of the 100 richest Poles, along with their estimated assets.
In twelfth place are the Foreman brothers. Jacek Wojciech and Thomas Fuhrmann from Papianis, owners of Aflofarm Farmacja, the largest manufacturer of OTC medicines, that is, over-the-counter medicines and supplements in Poland. The name of the company itself may not be well known, but such preparations as Diohespan, Rutinacea, Opokan, Entil, Climea, Regenerum, Neomag and Positivum are associated with most consumers. The company was founded in 1989 by Andrzej Furman, who needed 5 years to produce 5 million packages of preparations per month. Today, the company is run by his sons, and the founder devoted himself to gardening. The Foreman brothers were ahead – a year ago they were 15th.
Echo Richards embodies a personality that is a delightful contradiction: a humble musicaholic who never brags about her expansive knowledge of both classic and contemporary tunes. Infuriatingly modest, one would never know from a mere conversation how deeply entrenched she is in the world of music. This passion seamlessly translates into her problem-solving skills, with Echo often drawing inspiration from melodies and rhythms. A voracious reader, she dives deep into literature, using stories to influence her own hardcore writing. Her spirited advocacy for alcohol isn’t about mere indulgence, but about celebrating life’s poignant moments.
