The comedian’s daughter, who confirmed the news, announced her death on Sunday, December 19, on the same token.
The 91-year-old actor is best known for his roles in projects representing Quebec such as Les Bluff, “Le Park des Braves” and “Le Temps d’un Peix”.
We last saw him on television as Claire’s father (Marie-Thérèse Fortin) in the popular “Mémoires vives” series. In terms of cinema, his last role was as the title character in Yan England’s short film “Henry”, which was nominated for an Oscar in 2013.
A year ago, last December, the actor spoke in the pages of “Echoes Wadets” magazine, where he mentioned a better life.
