He message to the listeners
“ Now, I want to tell you about a great end in these next few minutes. I have been thinking about retiring for a long time, in fact I set a date a few years ago, but the epidemic of the last two years and now the war in Ukraine has delayed this process. However, I know the time has come. I told the TVA management that I was leaving at the end of this year. I will continue to host news at 5 pm and 6 pm until the summer. I will be face to face with the leaders and on the eve of the Quebec 2022 election. In the meantime, they will give TVA management the time and opportunity to select the person they would like to see instead of me. We have a good successor on our team.
I still have a passion for work. Coming to work has never been a job for me. On the contrary, it’s daily pleasure, but after 45 years in the light of TVA, after 50 years of journalistic career, I feel like a little shadow to enjoy Ginette and my life. I’m healthier and more, I’m happier in my life … “
