“China’s overt support for Russia, which invaded Ukraine, could disrupt Chinese relations with Eastern Europe,” Le Monde wrote.
He asserts, “Therefore, it is unlikely that Beijing would risk what would satisfy Moscow, which does not have much to offer Beijing, given its realistic strategic objectives in the economic sphere.”
Poland is on the front lines of the war in Ukraine, but it is pursuing a policy friendly to China, says Jean-Francois Dufour, an expert on China in the daily newspaper Le Monde.
Although China is a technological power, China needs to cooperate with foreign countries to make up for the great delay in technological development. They also want the expansion that the United States currently prohibits, impeding access to knowledge and entire industries.
