The President of France spoke about the tragedy of Ukrainians in Bokza

“It is very likely that war crimes have been committed there,” the French president said on Wednesday. He stressed that the perpetrators must be held accountable and brought to justice.

Emmanuel Macron had previously estimated that there were “very clear indications” that Russian forces were responsible for war crimes in Ukraine. On Monday – what happened in Bokza requires a new package of sanctions and very clear measures, the politician said.

The Russians left corpses and rubble behind

Bucha was liberated by Ukrainian forces last week. From Saturday, information was received that several bodies of civilians killed by the Russians were foundnot only in Bokza, but also in other liberated areas of the Kyiv region.

On Wednesday morning, the mayor of Bokza announced that the Russians had killed about 320 residents of the city. Every day she posts new photos and videos that show how cruel the perpetrators are.

The Kremlin calls for an independent investigation into the “staging in Bokza”

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov described the events in Bokza as “organised” and demanded an independent investigation into the matter.

You need to determine what will truly be an impartial and independent investigation. “We remember the different types of investigations in which Russia has not been represented recently and which we cannot consider independent under any circumstances,” Peskov said.

The Kremlin has categorically denied any accusations of killing civilians in Bokza from the start, as Moscow believes there are mass graves and human corpses. Organized by Ukraine to discredit Russia.

However, satellite images analyzed by the New York Times show that several civilians were killed more than three weeks ago when the Russian army took over the city of Bukha, which refutes the narrative advocated by the Kremlin.
