This will increase the supply of oil and gas companies. Now Biden has announced that it is up to them to lower prices (raw materials) to consumers.

Last week, the US President announced a two-step plan to lower oil prices and achieve energy independence by the United States.

As part of this project, Biden announced the release of 180 million barrels of crude oil from the US Strategic Reserve over the next six months, and said oil companies would be under pressure to increase oil production.
