The Metro Festival actually had to deal with a lack of security at its site, admitted event organizer Oliver Primau following the overflow that occurred at the site.

“I do not want to hide behind political answers. We had a security problem, ”the business owner of Pointe-Calumet Beachclub admitted in an interview with Sophie Drocer on QUB radio on Tuesday.
“I don’t think there is a shortage of guards. I think we did not expect it to overflow. We have a lot of work to do next year. […] We have already held a meeting with security. Everyone admits their mistakes, ”he continued.
Over the weekend, crowds of people attending ceremonies who wanted to attend shows without paying the entrance fee aired on social networking sites videos of security guards fighting to take control. People have even climbed into the Olympic Stadium to enter the festival venue.
“People, it’s been many years since they came out and, after all, this is their first festival for many. And with so many entry points, Esplanade is not an easy site to manage, ”said Oliver Primau.
However, despite the Esplanade being located in the middle of a residential area, with a few noise complaints, in his opinion, the organizer noted that his festival went well.
