Yes drummer Alan White is dead

Drummer Alan White, who worked with John Lennon’s Plastic Ono Band, has been part of the British progressive rock band Yes since 1972.

Britain died of a brief illness at the age of 72 at his home in Seattle, Washington.

Alan White, a native of Peldon, Durham County, replaced Bill Bruford in 1972 when he decided to play for King Crimson.

The drummer made his record debut with the duet album Stories from the landscape oceans. He was on all the albums of creation until the last Opus, QuestLaunched in October 2021.
