In Zatoni, time has gone a century back. Vintage cars, bikes and creations from the movie

“It was an old fashioned world.” Zatoni’s time goes back to the 1920s and 1930s and life has returned to the ancient era. There were old cars, bikes, clothes and music. look at the pictures!

This weekend, Zielona Góra Cultural Center invited me to a time machine to travel back a century and feel the atmosphere of that era. “100 Years Ago – Cultural Summer in Zielona Gora and Cottbus” – Under this title, an event was organized in Zatoni, which will be remembered by those who have seen it for a long time.

It was a really successful retro party.

The children participated in games that the youngest have known in recent years. There was a bull game, a wheel spin, a poker spin, a family garden mission, a member mill and much more.

Staying in the lap of nature is made more enjoyable by swing, Dixieland and saloon music. Men and women dressed in beautiful period costumes captured the hearts of all who came to Zatoni. No one could pass by them carelessly. Souvenir photos were taken every now and then.

A party was held in the style of the 1920s and 1930s in Zatoni, and many guests watched silent films and costumes from the bygone era. Agnieszka Linka

Vintage cars and vintage bikes from the former Edelweiss factory, founded by Paul Decker in 1896, were also a big draw. An interesting feature of the two-wheeled equipment were the original carbide lamps. Ladies’ bikes had beautiful decorations, especially the embroidered nets that are wheel covers.
