The Last of Us Part I Firefly Edition will not be going to Europe. Sony confirmed the fatal news

We can’t count on pre-orders releasing in Europe for The Last of Us Part I Firefly. A Naughty Dog Special Edition has been produced in small print and is intended for US gamers only.

Sony wanted to reveal the first part of The Last of Us at Summer Game Fest, but the production had already appeared in the Japanese company’s store – at that time we saw The Last of Us Part I Firefly Edition.

The game is priced in a special edition at $100 (currently around PLN 467) and production can be purchased by US gamers. There was no shortage of critical comments on the web regarding the development of a more expensive version of the revamped adventure, but fans soon bought the title and even a first eBay show appeared where a Sony customer wanted to resell production for $450.

We can assume that this is only the beginning and players from America will be happy to resell the production while making a lot of money, because The Last of Us Part I Firefly Edition is not expected to hit Europe.

Gameblog Editors (For JeuxvideoI contacted Sony and they confirmed their assumptions The Japanese will not release The Last of Us Part I Firefly Edition in Europe. According to journalists Even the community pleas are meaningless as Sony has decided to release this special edition exclusively in the US.

Thus, the only choice for collectors and loyal fans of the Naughty Dog brand to get The Last of Us Part I Firefly Edition would be to opt for the used US edition, which unfortunately will cost its own price.
