"The Restaurant": The release of the first pictures

First pictures Zeste’s new cooking competition, RestaurantPublished on Tuesday.

A dozen prospective restaurateurs from across the province must defend their restaurant project in this new type of competition, where $50,000 is up for grabs.

At each stage, the contestants must adapt their restaurant concept to the challenges of chef Vincent Dion-Lavallee, associated with the owner of Au Pied de Cochon and La Cabane d’à Côté, who will also wear the judge’s hat. Future restorers can report on the strengths and weaknesses of their plan.

Vincent Dion-Lavallee and Hélène Bourgeois Leclerc will host “Le Restaurant” on Zeste from autumn 2022.

Those most at risk will present their dishes in “grand service” where they must impress the customers who are the most demanding judges. The least successful participant will unfortunately leave the kitchen Restaurant.

Candidates must stand out throughout the competition and demonstrate that they have all the necessary qualifications to become the next successful restaurateur.

Hosted by Hélène Bourgeois Leclerc, who will be the voice of the customer, Restaurant Coming to Zeste on August 18, 9pm.
