The RTX 4090 is 30% faster than the RTX 3090 Ti in TimeSpy Extreme

As mentioned by Industry Leaks kopite7kimiThe new card from Nvidia was tested in the 3DMark Time Spy Extreme benchmark in the most demanding Time Spy test. The results are very promising, the system got more than 19,000. Points.

For comparison: currently the highest score is for a biso user – 14,611 points on the RTX 3090 Ti card. It should be noted that this result is achieved in a massively overclocked system, where the benchmark is about 11 thousand. Point

It seems that The upcoming RTX 4090 may be about 72% more efficient than the standard RTX 3090 Ti and 27% more efficient than overclocked.

Unfortunately, this jump in performance was prompted by higher power consumption. For RTX 4090, depending on the dropout, this factor ranges from 450W to 600W. This is a significant increase, considering that the most efficient chip of the previous generation, even when overclocked, did not exceed 450 watts.

The new generation GPU is expected to arrive later this year, so we can expect more leaks about the cards coming soon.

The RTX 4090 beats its predecessor in unofficial tests, and unfortunately also in power consumption - illustration #2
