A few days ago, we reported that AMD confirmed the presence at this year’s Gamescom, which was supposed to be a clear indication about the upcoming presentation of the Ryzen 7000 processors. Now the manufacturer has finally confirmed the exact day and hour of the conference, so we are 100% sure that it will be Zen 4 processors already introduced this month. In addition, one of the German stores presented ASUS motherboards with the X670E chipset. Prices may change a bit of course, but it doesn’t look good at the moment. It’s just expensive.
AMD has officially confirmed the date of the conference during which the Ryzen 7000 processors will be presented. The event will take place on August 30 at 1 am Poland time. In addition, the first prices for ASUS ROG motherboards with the X670E chipset appeared on the Web. It promises to be…expensive.
AMD Ryzen 7000 – We’ll wait much longer for the first processors to go on sale. The new date coincides with the presentation of Intel Raptor Lake
AMD has confirmed its ProgressComputers conference with a Ryzen 7000 processor in the background on the invite. There’s no doubt what the upcoming event will be like. It will take place on August 29 at 7 PM ET – in Poland, however, August 30 will be at 1 AM. Admittedly, AMD picked the very unfortunate date of introducing the Ryzen 7000 processor to Europeans. However, we invite you to watch and comment on the event together – the relevant materials will appear on PurePC.pl immediately after the manufacturer’s presentation.
AMD Ryzen 7000 processors appeared in the first stores. Prices are not as low as we assumed
Meanwhile, German store IPC-Computer has published some upcoming ASUS motherboards, which are intended for AMD Ryzen 7000 processors. They offer not only the AM5 socket, but also the flagship X670E and X670 chipsets. Saying it will be too expensive is like saying nothing. The top model ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme was initially priced at 1,475 euros (including 19% VAT), or about 7,000 PLN converted into our currency. The cheapest motherboard – ASUS X670-P Prime, had a price of 483 euros (~ 2300 PLN). It’s hard to believe that these will be the final prices, but at the moment these proposals seem ridiculously expensive. Let the final prices not be the same as in the screenshot below.
