Dune: Wake up with a nice surprise from Gamescom’s inaugural Night Live
The Gamescom Opening Night Live show brought not only the expected production, but also some surprises. Their collection includes the first material promoting Dune: Awakening and a handful of information on what to expect here.
The universe itself, created by Frank Herbert, has many sympathizers, as well as among the players. Funcom studio was among the producers who saw the game’s potential here, and decided to focus on survival, but MMO. This last reference will stir mixed feelings. You can expect an open world, which is supposed to be quite large. It orbits the planet Arrakis, the first look at the conditions prevailing there is given in the aforementioned trailer.

We still have to wait for the release date (and not only)
If you are among those for whom Dune: Awakening looks promising, you need to wait patiently for the next game’s information, not to mention the release date. Rather, this is not a production that will debut in the near future.
However, you can note the list of target platforms now. As shown, for example, at the end of the video above, Dune: Awakening will hit the PC and its most powerful consoles – PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
