He drove around the city and shot people. Broadcast it all on Facebook

In Memphis, America, on Tuesday, a man was driving across town shooting random people. Four people were killed and three others were wounded. It has been discontinued.

A string of city shootings began Tuesday in Memphis. Police said 19-year-old Ezekiel Kelly shot random people in at least eight locations. He streamed it all on his Facebook.

The 19-year-old started his crimes at night when he shot a 24-year-old man in the street. Later, after ten hours or so, he shot again at two different places in the city, several minutes apart from each other. In East Parkway South, he killed a man sitting in his car. He also shot a woman in the leg.

Further attacks occurred around 6 pm on Wednesday, when the attacker stormed the store and seriously injured the man. He started broadcasting this attack live on his personal Facebook page. Then the teenager kidnapped the woman and shot her.

Moments later, he shot at two other places where another woman was killed. Later, the attacker smashed his car and began to flee from the police on foot on the street. During this time, he ran into another woman, took her out of the car, shot and robbed her car, and began running away with her. A little later, the police arrested him and put him in custody.

During the raid, bus and tram connections in the city were cut off. The city authorities also appealed to residents not to leave their homes.

It turned out that he was the detonator 19 year old Ezekiel Kelly, who was charged in 2020 with two attempted murders and illegal possession of weapons. When he was 17 years old, he was sentenced to 3 years in prison, but only served 11 months and returned to prison.

If Mr. Kelly had served his full three-year sentence, he would still be in prison today and four of our fellow citizens would still be alive. Mayor Jim Strickland said.
