Often described as rival brothers, Charles III’s two sons were in uniform – Harry, unlike his six cousins, did not wear it after stepping back from the monarchy. They assembled at Westminster Hall at 6:00 p.m. and lay on public view until Monday morning, with their backs to the coffin and heads bowed, in view of the onlookers who came to pay their respects before Elizabeth II’s remains.
