A Colorado woman was arrested in Colorado Springs in early October after she allegedly tied up, strangled and stabbed a man she met on the Tinder app.
Lauren Marie Dooley, 22, had arranged to meet the victim at his apartment, according to an affidavit cited by the New York Post.
She allegedly had her feet and hands taped with her consent before making sexual gestures.
“He found it odd, but agreed to it,” the affidavit states. However, things get difficult when Dooley pulls out a kitchen knife.
“Lauren climbed on top of him and began using the knife to cut his left shoulder,” the affidavit states.
The young woman pressed directly on the man’s throat with both hands and struggled to breathe for about 20 seconds.
She stopped, but only to get a belt she put around the man’s neck.
“She tightened the belt for another 20 seconds until it became difficult to breathe again. When she removed it, she checked the victim’s neck for a pulse,” the court document states.
Lauren Marie Dooley allegedly finally ordered food and threatened to kill her ‘date’ if she tried to call for help.
According to the person, the suspect had eaten and lay down next to him. He fled while he was sleeping, and he called the police on the spot.
Officers found the naked man in the apartment complex’s parking lot.
The teenager was charged with kidnapping, assault and threats.
