Actor Jason David Frank, who played green Power Ranger Tommy Oliver in the 90s series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, has died at the age of 49.
His spokesman, Justin Hunt, confirmed the news to US media outlet TMZ on Sunday.

Rumors of his passing began on Sunday after his friend and personal trainer Mike Bronzoulis paid tribute to him on social media: “Rest in peace my brother. […] I’m still shocked. I feel bad, he called me, he left me a message and it took me a long time. Jason was a good friend to me and I will miss him,” she wrote on Facebook.
Walter Emmanuel Jones, who plays the black Power Ranger, responded to the sad news on Instagram. “I couldn’t believe it […] My heart is saddened by the loss of another member of our very special family,” she wrote.
