Two minutes of bitter truth – the fact is that the European Parliament has done a lot of damage to Europe.
– said Professor Ryszard Legutko.
According to the MEP, the foundation is sending the wrong message that it represents European countries when it is notBesides, according to the Polish politician, the Parliament has infected the European space with shameful partisanship, and the infection has become so contagious that it has spread to other institutions such as the European Commission.
Parliament also abandoned its primary function of representing the people; Instead, it has become a machine for implementing the so-called European project, thus alienating millions of voters.
– He said.
The ECOSOC Group Chair pointed out that the European Parliament has become a political tool for the left to enforce its monopoly, with its fierce intolerance towards any dissenting opinions.
Tip of the iceberg
No matter how many times you repeat the word diversity. It is becoming an extinct species anyway in the European Union and especially in this house. The European Parliament is in fact quasi-parliament because it rejects the basic principle of parliament – accountability.
– said the MEP from Poland.
Professor Legutko stated that the deputy is elected by the electorate and must answer to them, but this is not the case in the European Union. According to the Polish politician, the idea that Spanish, German or French deputies responsible to their national electorate could collectively dictate something, for example to the Hungarian or any other society, for which they could not be held accountable, is absurd.
Call it what you will, but it’s not a democracy. In conclusion, the European Parliament represents a non-existent demonstration, working on a completely unrealistic project, evading responsibility, turning its back on millions of people and serving the interests of a single political orientation. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
– confirmed Professor Ryszard Legutko.
