The new “Akademia Pana Kleks” will be a modern version of Jan Brzechwa’s novel. The film will tell the story of a seemingly ordinary girl Ada Niezgódka, who ends up in the academy that bears her name, To get acquainted with the world of fairy tales, imagination and creativity. With the help of a brilliant and crazy professor, Professor Ambrose Clix, she develops her amazing skills and finds a clue that will help her solve the family’s greatest secret.
After what I managed to create in my life in such an immodest way, I thought I was no longer afraid of anything. Producing Kleks and working with extremely talented kids made me quickly realize that this simply wasn’t true…but it wasn’t fear of the project, it was fear of whether I’d be a kid again for the sake of a few months in order to tell the story as believably as possible, a story Beautiful – says Maciej Kawalski, the film’s director and producer.
Ada Niezgódka is played by Antonina Letwiniak, Ambrosie Clex by Tomasz Kott, and Doctor Pyotr Frunzewski. The script was written by Krzysztof Gureczny, and the cinematographer was Bartłomiej Cierlica.

And the trailer announced that “Akademia Pana Kleksa” will hit cinemas next year. The producer of the film is Open Mind Production, which is owned by Maciej Kawulski, and Next Film, an Agora subsidiary, will be responsible for the distribution.
The film was co-financed by the Polish Film Institute. The commercial partners of the film are InPost, the city of Katowice and the LEGO brand, charitable partners – InPost president Rafał Brzoska founded and TVN weather presenter Omena Mensah, and social partner – the Avalon Foundation.
