It has been almost 25 years since the release of the film Titanic, Kate Winslet has opened up about the many disparaging comments she received about her weight during that time. “Obviously I was really fat. Isn’t that gross? Why were people so mean? They were so mean… I wasn’t even fat,” she said on the podcast. Happiness Sadness Confusion.
Rose David Pugator’s translator says people made fun of her weight in connection with the famous scene where she floats to a door after the boat sinks. According to them, he was so big that his partner Jack, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, couldn’t get on the makeshift boat.
