From January 1, 2023, the Cabinet’s regulation on the amount of the minimum wage for work and the amount of the minimum hourly wage has been implemented. In this way, the minimum wage of 3010 PLN increased to 3490 PLN, and the hourly rate increased from 19.70 PLN to 22.80 PLN.
However, this is not the end, because in July we will see further increases, according to which the national minimum will increase to PLN 3,600, and the hourly rate to PLN 23.50.
When will teacher pay increases in 2023? Many educators and education workers are awaiting the Ministry of Health’s decision. It turns out that with the new year and an increase in the minimum wage, many of them will be paid less than the national minimum. How is this possible?
Currently, many teachers’ salaries will be below the national minimum.
