Marvel is making a Thunderbolts movie. This is the sequel to Black Widow without Scarlett Johansson

You probably know that Marvel prepares for ‘Thunderbolts’ show. We already wrote about it on Filmweb. Now revealed Andy Park, head of the studio’s special effects department Interesting details about it.

Andy Park shared it in an Instagram post in which he bragged about the “Art of Black Widow” book he’d worked on. By the way, he said that the upcoming show “Thunderbolts” is actually a sequel to “Black Widow”. Not only Some heroes will return Known from this movie, however Their respective pieces will intertwine.

So why is the movie called “Thunderbolts” and not “Black Widow 2”? basic: Scarlett Johansson is not attached to the projectand has played the character Black Widow in Marvel so far.

What do we know about “Thunderbolts”?

“Thunderbolts” will tell the story of a group of supervillains hired by the United States government as a special task force.

The stars of “Thunderbolts” will be Florence Pugh (as Yelena Belova) and Sebastian Stan (as the Winter Soldier). They will be joined by David Harbor (as Red Guardian), Wyatt Russell (as U.S. Agent), Hannah John-Kamen (as Ghost), Olga Kurylenko (as Taskmaster), and Julia Louis-Dreyfus (as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine). The cast also includes Harrison Ford, who will take over the role of Thaddeus Ross from William Hurt.

TV veteran Jake Schreyer (“Kidding” and “Shameless – Nepocornie”) will be at the helm of the project. The screenplay was written by Eric Pearson.

The series premiere is scheduled for July 26, 2024. The film will be the penultimate title of the so-called Phase 5 of the MCU.
