The film was made in 1985. In Poland, it was broadcast for the first time in the 1990s. gained extraordinary popularity. Viewers appreciated the original idea. The main character practically did not use blunt weapons. He got out of various injustices thanks to his brilliant mind. He performed many tasks with a swiss army knife. To this day, some people call these knives “macgyvers”. The ability to create things out of nothing became known as MacGyverism, and in English the verb MacGyver has come to mean phrases like “fix,” “invent,” or “solve.”
