Peter Gabriel in Montreal, Quebec, Toronto and Ottawa in September

British singer Peter Gabriel announced a North American tour on Tuesday, his first solo in more than 10 years, that will take him to Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto and Ottawa in September. He also revealed Playing timeNew single from the album i/oComing later this year.

For the occasion, he reunites with music legend Robert LePage, with whom he has already collaborated three times. The theater man is acting as a consultant on Peter Gabriel’s new tour and is currently in London with him, according to Danny Martell, Diamond’s director of communications.

Robert LePage first worked with Peter Gabriel in 1993 Secret World Tour. The latter made him look like Robert LePage by co-producing six years later Zulu time, the versatile show of Ex Machina. The duo teamed up again in 2002 for a tour growing up By Peter Gabriel.

The band will make stops at the Videotron Center in Quebec (September 8), the Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa (September 9), the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto (September 11) and the Bell Center in Montreal (September 13).
