Among the inexpensive Xiaomi smartphones, it is worth paying the most attention to the POCO models. They offer a very good combination of specifications, quality, design and price. A good example of this is the POCO M5, which is equipped with a large 6.6-inch display with an increased refresh rate of 90Hz. This makes scrolling through pages, documents, viewing animations, and even playing games smoother and reduces eye strain. The screen is made using the classic IPS LCD technology, not AMOLED, but thanks to the Full HD + resolution and good image quality, it is pleasant to use. It’s enough for most games, though it’s worth noting that some of them may run on lower graphics settings. POCO M5 comes in several colors and has an interesting and modern body and a fast fingerprint reader. For about 800 PLN, you can purchase a version with 128 GB of memory. This is a good and cheap Xiaomi smartphone.

What do you get if you pay an extra 200 PLN? As it turns out, there are many more. First of all, Redmi Note 11S has a much better screen, made using AMOLED technology, which provides perfect blackness, high contrast and more saturated colors. It’s a very good screen for movies, games, and photo previews. Secondly, the Redmi Note 11S has a better main camera on the back. Its resolution is 108 megapixels. Of course, in automatic mode, the pictures are reduced, because they will take up too much space in memory, but thanks to this, you can see less noise on them, while maintaining very good sharpness. The front camera is also better (16 versus 5 megapixels). The phone has a 5,000mAh battery, but it has a more powerful charger than the POCO M5 (33W vs. 18W). It also has stereo speakers and more RAM, so it’s better suited for high-end applications and runs faster when you have multiple tabs open in your web browser. Interestingly, the processor itself is slightly weaker than in the POCO M5, but the difference is not clearly noticeable on a daily basis. Still sufficient for most basic tasks. You can connect wired headphones via the 3.5mm mini jack or wireless headphones via Bluetooth. The phone has NFC connectivity for in-store payments. However, it should be noted that for less than 1000 PLN you can usually buy a version with 64 GB of memory. It is recommended to use the slightly more expensive 128GB version.

There is a lot of memory in this phone. The 8GB of RAM certainly improves usability, especially when many applications and lots of tabs are open in a web browser. Games work better too. On the one hand, a storage capacity of up to 256 GB will give you peace of mind, because this memory will not quickly fill up with photos and videos, as well as programs installed on the phone. POCO X5 5G also has a very good 6.7-inch AMOLED display, with great colors and high fluidity, at 120 Hz. You can count on excellent ease of use and animation display. The advantage is also the latest and fastest 5G cellular connectivity and the Snapdragon 695 processor, which has higher performance than both previously described models. The back camera is 48 MP, but you don’t have to worry about the quality, because the photos look good. POCO X5 5G has NFC and universal TV remote function, runs up to 1.5 days on battery, has a fast fingerprint reader and a beautiful housing in several colors. This is one of the best Xiaomi smartphones around PLN 1500.

POCO F4 5G is indeed a fast and efficient phone. Although its processor has been on the market for about two years, it is still very good and well suited for games, multimedia and even advanced applications. Combined with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and fast UFS 3.1 storage, you can not only rely, but even expect smooth performance of the phone. The POCO F4 also has 5G connectivity, fast Wi-Fi 6, good front and rear cameras (main with optical stabilization), records 4K video at 60fps, has a large bright 120Hz AMOLED display and two speakers. The battery has a capacity of 4,500 mAh and lasts for about 1.5 days, but the advantage is the fairly fast 67W charging, from zero to full charge in about 40 minutes. POCO F4 is basically the best Xiaomi phone up to PLN 2,100.

And if you are expecting higher performance, faster operation and want a gaming smartphone from Xiaomi, then it is worth going for the POCO F4 GT. The most distinctive feature is the magnetic triggers, which extend from the edge of the chassis. You can assign them specific functions (such as aiming and shooting), thanks to which you have a special advantage in online multiplayer shooters, which Android does not lack. In addition, the POCO F4 GT has as many as four speakers, of decidedly above average quality and useful not only in games, but also when watching movies. The combination of the high-performance Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and fast UFS 3.1 storage delivers a great user experience. This is one of the fastest Xiaomi phones on the market. It also has a very good AMOLED screen, very fast Wi-Fi 6e, 5G connectivity, an excellent haptic engine (microvibrations), two LED strips that act as notification diodes, and a very attractive housing, especially in the yellow version. The 4,700 mAh battery in this efficient and functional smartphone lasts just over a day, but the big plus is the ultra-fast 120W charging, from zero to full charge in 18 minutes. POCO F4 GT is definitely one of the best Xiaomi smartphones.

Xiaomi 13 Pro is one of the latest models of this manufacturer and at the same time the one that people who expect the best picture quality can expect. It has a main camera consisting of three lenses prepared in collaboration with Leica – wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle and telephoto with 3.2x optical zoom, the former and latter supported by OIS. The phone can also record 8K video on the back, though unfortunately there’s only Full HD on the front (a bit weak for a flagship). The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 processor is currently the most efficient on the market and will surely handle any game or mobile app available on Android. The screen is also excellent, because it has a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, and at the same time high brightness and very good saturated colors, thanks to LTPO AMOLED technology. The 120 Hz refresh rate improves the comfort of using the system, scrolling through pages and documents, as well as playing games (up to 120 frames per second). The Xiaomi 13 Pro has 5G, fast Wi-Fi 6e, stereo speakers, as well as a battery with 120W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It is well made and is IP68 waterproof.
