In a recent statement, Disney CEO Bob Iger brought up an interesting topic. He revealed that while the previous feature films had already done a very good job in terms of revenue, this one This is not to say that the label intends to produce countless of them. It turns out exactly the opposite – the developers are very careful:

As for Star Wars, we did a three-film saga, which is obviously the successor to George Lucas’ first six movies.

They did well at the box office…in fact, they did very well. In addition, we created two separate spin-offs in the form of ‘Rogue One’ and ‘Solo’. Rogue One did well, and Solo was a bit of a disappointment. It made us think that maybe the rhythm was a little tricky. So we decided to back off a bit. We’re still working on the Star Wars movies. However, we will make sure it is correct when creating it, so we are very careful.
