Sebastian Szymanski scored the net in the Premier League match between Ajax and Feyenoord.
Feyenoord, first in the Eredivisie table, approached Sunday’s confrontation with Ajax, as it was three points ahead of them. Santiago Jimenez opened the scoring on the field in Amsterdam, converting Quilindschy winger Hartmann’s kick in the fifth minute.
Several minutes later, Edson Alvarez equalised. The Mexican headed in a corner kick by Stephen Burgess. Before the break, Dusan Tadic gave Amsterdam the lead. Serb Stephen Bergwijn served.
Sebastian Szymański entered the top scorer list in the second half. And the Polish Ali Reza Jahanbakhsh turned to the penalty area to score the goal.
On loan to Feyenoord from Dynamo Moscow, the 23-year-old is the seventh goal of the Eredivisie season. In addition, he has four assists, and also scored and assisted two goals in the Europa League (most recently, the Rotterdam team beat Shakhtar Donetsk 7-1).
If the match ends in a draw, Feyenoord will still be three points ahead of Ajax.
