The 44-year-old actress told Vanity Fair that she had already told director James Cameron that she was not interested in reprising her role as pilot Trudy Chacon, who lost her life. The franchise’s first film was released in 2009.

“I saw James [Cameron] Recently he said that he would like to bring me back in Sakha in the future. Many other characters from the first film return in “Avatar 2: The Way of the Water.” I replied: You cannot do that, I died a martyr!

Michael Rodriguez also pointed out to Cameron that he has been resurrected several times in movies.

“I came back in ‘Resident Evil.’ I came back in ‘Machete’ when I didn’t want to. I came back in Letty. [son personnage des films de la saga «Rapides et dangereux», NDLR] When I shouldn’t. Can’t do it the fourth time! That would be too much! “

“I don’t understand, it’s so weird,” she added, referring to the fact that many of her movie characters have been resurrected. “I don’t think they know what to do with a girl without a boyfriend. Do we keep her alive or kill her?”

Despite refusing to star in the “Avatar” sequels, Michelle Rodriguez will appear on the big screen this year. He will be seen in the fantasy action movie “Dungeons and Dragons – Honor of Thieves” which opens today. He will be back in “Fast X”, the next part of the “Fast and Dangerous” saga, which is expected to hit our screens on May 19.
