Another Polish page is down. Same with banks again

After bank customers had problems logging in in recent days, on Thursday morning there were problems logging in to the website of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The pro-Russian hacker group admits it, though WSE has yet to confirm these reports.

“Due to technical problems, we would like to inform you of the possibility of temporary disruptions in accessing the information services of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Capital Group: gpw.pl, newconnect.pl, gpwcatalyst.pl, tge.pl, gpwbenchmark.pl, 4Brokernet, bondspot.pl ,” reads the WSE statement.

Measures have been taken to ensure the continued operation of GPW’s information services. At the same time, we would like to inform you that the situation does not affect the proper functioning and security of the exchange’s transaction system. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this situation.”

On Wednesday, BOŚ Bank admitted it resisted hacker attacks. Previously, issues related to the availability of services were for example Raiffeisen Bank Polska, PKO BP, Pekao, Blik, PFR or Law and Justice. However, not everyone confirmed that the problems were the cause of the attacks.

The NoName hacking group has made itself known several times during attacks, among others on German institutions when the decision was made to deliver Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. The group was also active during the Czech presidential elections when it attacked the website of incumbent President Petr Pavel.
