Matic Ivacic fell in Tuesday’s elimination round to Torun Sec. Grupa Azoty leader Unii Tarnów was taken to hospital, where he underwent thorough examinations. After its completion, positive news arrived from Italy.
On Tuesday, the fans of the second league Grupa Azoty Unii Tarnów did not receive the best news. During the qualifying rounds for TAURON SEC, which took place on a demanding track in Terenzano, Italy, Matic Ivacic fell. Immediately after this incident, the Slovenian complained of pain in his shoulder and was taken to hospital with suspicion of a broken collarbone.
Fortunately, a visit to an Italian hospital quickly dispelled suspicions. As the Tarnów club reports on its website, the Slovenian speedway racer has only suffered a dislocation of his left shoulder as a result of the accident in Terenzano. Extensive examinations ruled out any fractures.
“Matic is already on his way to Poland, where he will undergo rapid rehabilitation to recover as soon as possible,” Jaskocek reports.

Tarnów fans should keep their fingers crossed for the Slovenian’s speedy recovery. Currently, with a 2.333 earned run average, he is the seventh most effective player in Speedway II.
