The moon is up, it’s time for the sun.  India announces another flight

As the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) tweeted, “Aditya-L1, India’s first space observatory to study the Sun, is scheduled to be launched on September 2Aditya, which means “sun” in Hindi, will be launched into an orbit about 1.5 million kilometers from Earth, giving the spacecraft a continuous view of the life-giving star.

Space ship It will carry seven payloads that will allow observation of the outer layers of the sun – Known as the photosphere and chromosphere – including using the electromagnetic field and particle detectors. One of the mission’s goals is to study the factors that influence space weather, including a better understanding of the dynamics of the solar wind. Although NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) have already deployed orbiters to study the sun, this will be India’s first mission of its kind.
