Kacper Koniarski and a team of dozens of Poles from Nevomo have created the world’s first train that reaches a speed of 550 km/h and does not require the construction of special tracks!

Elon Musk competition
Polish scientists participated in competitions organized by Elon Musk years ago and were among thousands of projects in the top ten. However, they decided not to sell the idea but rather develop it further. After 5 years of work and almost 4 years of testing, a few days ago they showed the world their first train, which runs on the Polish test track in Nova Szarzyna. Our 2-ton chassis flew over it at a speed of 80 km/h. Their track is also the longest negative magnetic levitation test track in Europe. Its design is a form of unique overlay that allows trains to use magnetic pad technology on existing tracks. This is a saving of billions of dollars compared to existing funicular railway solutions in the world.
Elevated train on traditional tracks
Quite simply: On September 5, for the first time in the history of world railways, a railway car moved on the existing traditional tracks and flew over them without friction. This happened in Poland. This is the power of the Polish flag! We have just published an interview with one of the founders of this project – Kacper Koniarski. I consider it one of the most important works I have done so far. It’s a bit puzzling to me how you can dream up a left-leaning train and make it happen.
