American comedian Dave Chappelle criticized the United States for supporting Israel’s “war crimes” against Palestinians during a show in Boston on Thursday, prompting some audience members to leave the venue.

The controversial comedian made the comment during a performance at TD Garden on Thursday The Wall Street Journal.
The comedian condemned the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, which has since killed more than 1,400 Israelis.
Mr. Chappell denounced Israel’s “war crimes” in Gaza, which did not sit well with some in the audience.

Then he lamented that some would lose their jobs in support of the Palestinians.
A member of the public then told the comedian to “shut up”, prompting an immediate uproar in the arena.
Instead Mr. Chappell criticized the Israeli government’s decision to cut off food, water and electricity to Gaza.

He accused Israel of massacring innocent civilians and committing war crimes.
The audience clapped and chanted “Free Palestine!” shouted others, “And Hamas?!” They replied.
Some of the audience left after this exciting moment.
