Zelensky said that Kiev is concerned about voices within the US Republican Party calling for a reduction in aid to Ukraine. He added that it is unclear what Donald Trump’s potential victory in the 2024 presidential election would mean for Ukraine.
Zelensky also stressed that although “some leaders believe that Ukraine cannot win the war because Russia has a larger population,” the losses suffered by Ukrainian forces on the front are much lower than those of the Russians.
