The site tickets.ca is condemning people who try to resell tickets to the Carl Tremblay Tribute national event at the Bell Center on Tuesday at inflated prices, and is going so far as to block their resale on its site.

After the outrage over the resale of free tickets, regretted by Marie-Annick Lépine, tickets.ca wants to express the situation: “We share your concern about the sale of tickets for the tribute to Carl Tremblay. It is truly deplorable to see individuals trying to take advantage of such a sacred and united moment.
Once the event was announced, we proactively decided not to list it on our site to prevent the possibility of ticket resale. This action reflects our commitment to the respect and dignity of such commemorative events.
We would like to extend our deepest sympathies and thoughts of solidarity with Carl Tremblay’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.
Ask the public
Marie-Annick Lépine quickly condemned the resale of tickets on her Facebook page and asked the public not to buy them. He took the opportunity to announce that the ceremony will be broadcast on social networks.
“Out of respect for Carl, I’d like no one to buy tickets that are currently selling for $500.”
Tickets were found specifically on the StubHub site. The tickets quickly disappeared. As of Friday morning, tickets for the ceremony were not available.
The StubHub site has not responded to our interview request at the time of writing.
Internet users also tried to sell tickets on social networks.
On Friday morning, new offers appeared, this time for $100 a ticket. In the comments, many Internet users called it a scam.
