The Gold Edition was leaked by Metacritic.  We have learned the release date

Capcom may be preparing to present and premiere Resident Evil 4: Gold Edition. An extended version has appeared in the Metacritic database and we also learned the final release date of the new version.

Resident Evil 4 Remake was released in March, and production has since expanded with an expansion of the story. The company also confirmed the release date of the update that introduces a virtual reality mode to the game – this week, PlayStation VR2 owners will be able to check out the sights.

Capcom may be preparing to showcase Resident Evil 4: Gold Edition, given that such a version of the game has appeared on Metacritic. According to the review site – The new version is scheduled to hit the market on February 9, 2024.

The Japanese have already decided to take such a step – after the launch of the game and expansions, the company has packed everything into a “Gold Edition” and it seems that next year the situation will be identical.

Resident Evil 4: Gold Edition may include the base game (Resident Evil 4), add-on (Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways) and all released updates (including VR mode).

However, it should be noted that Metacritic has not recently revealed the plans of publishers and developers.
