Sony will create a new development team for talent from the studio they previously left

A few months ago, we read on the Internet that there were major layoffs at the Deviation Games studio. In addition, the team working at Sony allegedly had problems reaching an agreement with the company's owners, who eventually canceled the project created by the team at the request of the creators of PlayStation consoles.

Now – as Zuby_Tech pointed out on Twitter – a number of key employees at Deviation Games have updated their job descriptions, including design director Fred Thompson, animation director Adam Rosas, animator Kristin Syche, and executive producer Pat Dwyer. All four will work at Sony Interactive Entertainment – led by Thompson, who is expected to lead the unannounced Sony project.

It is very likely that Jason Blundell himself, co-founder of Deviation Games, has also joined the team. JC Farmer, who was the community manager on the aforementioned team, has now joined Sony as a junior game designer, adding that he works for Jason Blundell.

So it's possible that Sony has created a new team with which it is now fully aligned. This will eventually lead to an interesting project.
