I watched a terrible sci-fi movie with a great cast on Amazon. Let her go

“Enemy” quickly caught the attention of Prime Video subscribers with its hot title — but I fear that the excitement they elicited (which I felt myself, because I really appreciate Ronan and Mescal) will give way to major disappointment during the screening. It's a depressingly bad movie.

The action begins in the year 2065 – as you know, densely populated cities and rural areas fall into ruin, and fall into ruin. Drinkable water and habitable land are now valuable currencies. The government (along with private companies) had to respond – a private settlement was designed for a space station orbiting the Earth. A special system is designed to create a list of people who can be resettled – initially, the program selects from among those living in the most degraded areas of our planet. Selected items are replaced by AI replacements that have human consciousness.

And this is how we meet our heroes – a young couple living on an isolated farm, and only one person is chosen to transport them in the initial sketch. Junior and Hen are not a very happy couple, and now – faced with new circumstances – there are growing doubts about their relationship and the future. However, a version of Junior is about to arrive and keep Hen company when the real Junior goes into space.
