On January 22, 2024, Seth Rollins addressed WWE RAW regarding his future.
In fact, we learned last week that Seth Rollins injured his knee in his match against Jinder Mahal for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. More specifically, a partial tear of the medial collateral ligament and menisci.
It's unclear what the future holds for Seth Rollins. A championship loss? Absent at WrestleMania 40? Or will just a few weeks of rest help him bounce back?
Seth finally spoke at the start of RAW on January 22 and announced that he was indeed injured, confirming his two hamstring injuries. Rollins said doctors are talking about three to four months of recovery and surgery, but as far as he's concerned, he'll be back next week to continue the stomps. Rollins found himself interrupted by Gunther during his announcement, but Rollins quickly stopped him, saying he wasn't done.
Rollins added that despite the doctor's notice it didn't matter to him. He also doesn't care how hard he has to work while he recovers. He's going to push his knee to the limit and bring this title with him to WrestleMania ! And he's going to do whatever it takes to come out of WrestleMania as the World Heavyweight Champion!
The report confirms that Seth Rollins will not miss WrestleMania 40 and will have to take some time between now and WrestleMania to make his big match at the biggest show of the year.
We'll have to wait for the next updates to know exactly whether or not Seth Rollins will stay away from the ring until WrestleMania.
