During CES 2024, many interesting solutions were presented regarding different types of displays. Then Samsung introduced displays that could fold, spread, and even fold 360 degrees. LG showed off a TV with a transparent OLED panel that impressed me with its capabilities. Everything indicates that this latest trend is reaching other devices. Lenovo will soon introduce a laptop that uses such a screen.
MWC 2024, which will be held in Barcelona from February 26 to 29, 2024, will once again remind us of transparent displays. That's when Lenovo will introduce the new laptop model that will be able to use this solution.

The idea of transparent displays is not new, as such solutions have been around for more than a decade. However, it was very expensive to produce at the time, so it never became very popular. However, times have changed – production and related costs are now a little lower, and more devices using transparent screens are slowly appearing on the market. The next device could be Lenovo's titular laptop, which will be presented at MWC 2024. However, renders have already appeared online, so we have a small preview of what we'll see soon.

Samsung Display – A new generation of displays is coming. Rollable OLED panels or those that fold in both directions will enter the market
The whole structure looks quite futuristic, especially since in addition to the transparent display (possibly an OLED panel), we also have a transparent panel on which the keyboard is displayed. This is a similar solution of plastic elements with printed graphics and LED backlighting underneath. Of course, it could be just another screen. At the moment, the only information that can be taken for granted is that the laptop will run Windows 11. All other details will be revealed during the exhibition in Barcelona. The practicality of such a solution is not very impressive, although the design itself is very impressive.
