It's hard to imagine
Although the character of Palpatine has been used many times in the Star Wars universe, fans still don't know everything about him. Ian McDiarmid recently told Empire magazine about this dark force.
During the interview, he was asked if Palpatine had sex. Here's what he answered:
Please don't get into this, but yes, he has sex. It's a nightmare to think that Palpatine could have sex in any way.
But he immediately added:
Then again, maybe he didn't have sex at all. Maybe this is all the work of midi-chlorians. And please don't ask me about that. Never trust your granddaughter. Palpatine got a shirt like this after his death.
Ian McDiarmid, of course, points out the fact that Rey is Palpatine's granddaughter, which might suggest that he must have had successful intercourse at least once. But it's not as simple as it seems. The situation for Ray's father – Dathan – is more complicated. He is not a direct descendant of Palpatine.
The new interview is part of it Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the beginning of the Star Wars prequel trilogy. At the time, the series divided fans. However, the generations that grew up later consider it a classic and love it very much. Relying on their love and nostalgia Disney plans to re-release Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace in theaters next May..
