While preparing to comment on a tennis match, a TVA sports journalist got a message on his phone.
A stunned Sebastian and his colleague had never expected such a quick departure from a man of so many talents.
Recognized as an excellent communicator, Paul Haut, Mr. Goulet was the inspiration for the sports commentator.
“Paul Haut is an inspiration. Paul Haut is perfect proof that to be interesting, you have to be informed, you have to be prepared. He's really got a lot of emotions and knows how to communicate them,” he said in an interview with Simon Gamache-Fortin and Marie-Lise Mormina. He explains.
“He's the only person I know who, in an instant, can have a discussion about yesterday's hockey results and then have a lively discussion about the appropriateness of turning the clock back to November and bringing it forward to March.”
