Veterans from Naughty Dog and id Software are starting a studio.  The creators reveal details of the new game

Emptyvessel is a new studio founded by industry veterans. Among them were people who worked on series such as Doom, The Last of Us or Call of Duty. The creators want to create a AAA shooter.

Recently, we've been hearing a lot about layoffs and closures of development studios. As a balance, information about the founding of a brand new band has just surfaced online. Emptyvessel brings together people with really extensive experience. The team already includes people who co-created iconic franchises: Doom, Quake, Call of Duty, The Last of Us and Tomb Raider. The latest information indicates that the studio intends to create a AAA game.

It will be the first game from this studio. The creators want to use their experience in the field of shootersThe system will be based on Unreal Engine 5. The game is inspired by films, graphic novels, and games set in dystopian science fiction worlds.

However, it is important to remember that setting up a studio is only the first step on this difficult journey. We recently received confirmation that Deviation Games, which was supposed to develop the answer to Call of Duty, has been shut down before its first game was released to the market. We will have to wait a long time for more details about Emptyvessel, but it is worth remembering this team, because with such a lineup, their game could be a really interesting project.
