After having problems and eventually defeating Peyton Stearns 6:6 (2-7), 6:2, 7:6 (8-6), she faced Emma Raducano in the next round. In the first set, the British player maintained the score 2:2. The Belarusian then won three matches in a row and maintained her advantage until the end with a 6:3 victory. The second part was more balanced. The tennis players played one match after another until the score was 5:5. Then again Sabalenka won two games in a row, the set 7:5 and the entire match 2:0.

Navarro played two matches during the Indian Wells tournament – both with representatives of Ukraine. In the first round, she defeated Lesia Korenko 4:6, 7:5, 7:5.
