Despite being the most passionate gamers, few of us are able to recognize all the important and big premieres in the video game market. The reasons can be different – working hard, making time for other hobbies/family, or simple fatigue.
Given the large number of debuts in the past few months, I personally can't catch up on even some of the gems from recent years, let alone my short list of popular products from at least two console generations. I decided to share it today While I'd love to hear your opinions on which ones I should prioritize in my free time.
Dragon Age 2
It was BioWare… Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Star Wars, and today? Damn he knows. Dragon Age Inquisition with terrible activities and a boring world, Anthem online, which is a failure on every level, and Mass Effect Andromeda, which of the three was the best production of the Canadian studio in recent years. Personally, I never liked the Dragon Age series, I've finished Inquisition at least a few times, and only licked the first one, but there was nothing about it that made me want to play through it. I hope things will be better in the future with Dragon Age 2, which is considered the best RPG game next to Mass Effect 2 and KOTOR from BioWare.
Red dead redemption
I passed by the premiere of Red Dead Redemption. I was never interested in this game until the excellent Red Dead Redemption 2 came on the market after GTA 5. I knew that Rockstar Games would be a real success in terms of visuals, details of the surroundings, the world presented and the story. And so it happened – it's good that RDR2 is a prequel, thanks to which playing RDR will be an excellent experience. It is unfortunate that the American studio did not attempt to prepare a new version of the story about John Marston and his pursuit of Dutch gang members, but only offered the community a relatively ordinary outlet…
GTA Vice City
I can't count the number of times I've played GTA San Andreas or GTA 4. I've been drawn to the latest production once again and I think I'll be stepping into Niko Bellic's shoes sooner or later. However, in the meantime, I'm interested in GTA Vice City, which is still waiting in the queue to play. I thought the perfect opportunity would be a remake of this title, but nothing like that – during the premiere period, when I got to the updated version of the game, I encountered a lot of technical and graphical errors, which put me off playing. Maybe it's better now – I'll find out in the future.

Obsidian Entertainment's demo – Fallout New Vegas – is still ahead of me. I have to admit without hesitation that I had a lot of problems with Fallout 4 and never thought to catch up with the previous versions of the series, especially because of the banal gameplay. However, I can understand that these gameplay solutions could have worked their magic on the seventh generation of consoles, most notably the PS3 and Xbox 360, where creating a vast world with many possibilities was exceptional. From this list, I put Fallout New Vegas at the end of the ranking, but I do not rule out that I will get there one day.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
I'm looking forward to more information about the complete remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I was worried that the project would be ruined due to the selling decisions made by Embracer Group, but the creators assure that the work is continuing, which makes me very happy – there will certainly be no better opportunity than to see such a great title updated. As long as Saber Interactive delivers on quality, for some recipients it will be an excellent new adventure, and for others a fun and memorable return to their younger years.
