Summer is fast approaching, which means the city of Montreal has implemented a large number of pedestrian streets across the borough.

Over 2,100 shops are accessible on 10 km of developed roads. The summer schedule also includes festivals.
“It’s a pleasure to discover our city on foot […] to stop, to encourage merchants,” Philippe Sabourin, spokesperson for the City of Montreal, told LCN.
