Roxane Bruneau, Patrick Bruel, IAM and dozens of artists from all corners of the Francophonie will come to the Agora of Quebec Harbor between August 15 and 31 to take part in the third SuperFrancoFête, a tribute to 45 years. Rock opera Starmania.

Baptized Starmania, 45 years under the starsThe concept show will bring together “excellent artists closely linked” to the work of Luke Plamondon and Michael Berger.
Directed by Jean-Francois Blaise and Isabelle Viviers, the August 23 show will feature undisclosed cast members.
“We’re preparing a big announcement,” says Sylvain Parent-Bédard, the festival’s founder, who extended the invitation to Luc Plamenton to attend.
The event will be broadcast by France Television this fall. In Quebec, there is still no contract with the television broadcaster.
“I was looking for something that could connect France and Quebec musically. Starmania Undisputed No. 1 at all levels,” said Mr. Parent-Bedard declares.
The best concert in the French-speaking world
Four days later, Véronic DiCaire, Patrick Bruel and Black M will host The best concert in the French-speaking world.
Under the musical direction of Scott Price, stars from America, Europe and Africa will appear on the Agora stage: Natasha St-Pierre, Bruno Pelletier, Daniel Lavoie, Roxanne Bruno, Mario Belchat, Isabelle Boulay, Corneille, M. Bogora, IAM, Jennifer, Eddy De Bretto, Yezold, Grand Corps Mallet, Mendisa, Jims, Helena Bailey, Newt Incolor, Stephane, Tiken Za Fagoli, Amato & Mariam, Samian and Wahli.
The program will be broadcast by France Television on October 4, at the start of the World Francophonie Summit in Paris. Here, TV5 Québec-Canada and TVA will broadcast the event, but the date has not been determined.

15,000 passes are on sale
New, there will be no more free shows like in 2022 and 2023. To attend SuperFrancoFête, you must purchase one of the 15,000 passes that grant general admission access on a first-come, first-served basis. Performed at the Summer Festival.
With a budget that has increased from $3 million in 2022 to $13 million in 2024, Sylvain Parent-Bédard estimates that the time has come to accept the pass.
“We’ve grown the event and that requires a balance between public funding, sponsorships and own source revenue.”
The pass will be on sale from May 15 to June 10 for $75. The price will increase to $90 until August 9 and $125 until the end of the festival.
The pass will allow its holder to reserve a seat for the shows of their choice for $20. However, these places are offered in limited quantities.
