From Software has been developing games for 34 years, but it’s no secret that many gamers learned about the studio only in 2009 – then Demon’s Souls debuted on PlayStation 3. The demanding and intriguing production never lasted, but the developers suggested Dark Souls in 2011. .
Since then, the developers have taken care of a few more projects, but from the programs they focused mainly on developing challenging adventures:
- 2011 – Dark Souls
- 2012 – Core V Armored
- 2012 – Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn
- 2012 – Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor
- 2013 – Armored Core: Judgment Day
- 2014 – Dark Souls II
- 2015 – Dark Souls II: The Realm of the First Sin

It’s hard not to get the impression that production’s celebration of the decade had a huge impact on the entire industry.
I’ll never forget when I bought my first Dark Souls – I didn’t know what to expect, I had never played Demon’s Souls before and couldn’t understand ‘why this skeleton is so strong’. Later it turned out that this was just the beginning of a very long journey.
